Full Job Description
Our company has been staffing the New Home Sales Industry since 1996 and is looking to expand our services into other industries. We are open to staffing in industries like warehousing, distribution, apartment leasing, clerical, administration, HOA's, lending, Escrow, etc. We're searching for an Area Sales Manager/Business Developer who will build and execute a business plan designed to bring in new clients. This person will also be charged with creating new sales material, policies, and procedures to support this new line of business. The right candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. This is a strategic role that requires a combination of sales expertise, marketing knowledge, and management skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Establish a plan to grow and retain newly developed clients.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements to maximize profitability.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Build trust and credibility amongst clients/prospects, candidates, and colleagues through strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as HubSpot, to track sales activities and manage client interactions.
Recruitment
- Although recruiters are on hand to pre-screen, Area Sales Manager will interview all potential candidates and make the final decision on who will be hired.
- Create recruitment strategies by developing local relationships with recruiting resources (colleges, Work Source Centers, trade shows or schools, etc.).
- Responsible for creating a positive candidate journey and excellent customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or six years of full-time work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience with Temporary Staffing Agencies within a Supervisory or Management Role preferable.
- Must have contacts in an industry where there are staffing needs.
- Two years of direct sales experience with a proven track record measured by increased responsibilities,
- Sales experience within a personnel service organization is preferable.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirement
- Proven track record in business development or sales roles, preferably in the staffing industry.
- Able to set own priorities, schedule day's events, make cold calls, prepare, and give formal presentations.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and able to handle multiple problems simultaneously.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong planning and organization skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally.
